Stefanos Tsitsipas spoke of a very good day after beating Denis Shapovalov and claimed that the titles will come if he keeps up the hard work.

Stefanos Tsitsipas effortlessly defeated Denis Shapovalov 2-0 sets to advance to the next round of the Barcelona Open. In his testimony in court, he spoke of a very good day, arguing that if he keeps up the hard work, the titles will come.

“I tried to be aggressive from the baseline. Against players like Dennis you have to keep your rhythm and be ready to attack as much as possible.

It wasn’t easy, but I did a good job, I made responsible decisions. Maybe I was in a hurry at times, but that’s part of the process. It was a good day.”

For the probability of winning an ATP 500 tournament for the first time:

“All I can guarantee is that if I keep working hard and training with dedication for many hours, it will pay off. That’s all I can tell you.”
