The quarter finalists of the ATP 500 clay tournament held in Barcelona have been announced.

On Thursday, April 20, the 1/8 final matches of the clay tournament of the ATP 500 series were held in Barcelona (Spain).

Carlos Alcaraz, the second racket of the world, defeated his compatriot Roberto Bautista-Aguta in two sets.

The second seed of the tournament, Stefanos Tsitsipas, defeated Denis Shapovalov in 1 hour 17 minutes.

Kasper Ruud unexpectedly lost to Francisco Cherundolo, Lorenzo Musetti clamped down on Yoshihito Nishisoka in three sets.

Note that last year Alcaraz won the trophy on these courts.
