Tsitsipas fights De Minor to reach Barcelona Open semifinals
Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 5) meets Alex De Minor (No. 19) in the quarter-finals of the Barcelona Open on Friday (April 21) around 3:00 p.m. A double battle follows.
Stefanos Tsitsipas (No.5) claims a place in the semifinals of the 500th Barcelona Open tournament. The top Greek tennis player meets Alex De Minor (No. 19) (COSMOTE SPORT 6HD, LIVE Sportish) in the quarter-finals today (April 21) at around 3:00 p.m.
This is the 8th duel between the two athletes, with Tsitsipas having the ultimate. Most recently, the two met in the round of 16 at the 2022 Miami 1000 tournament, while they met in the round of 16 in Barcelona in 2021.
The winner crosses paths with the pair Musetti (#20) – Siner (#8), who also open the Friday schedule as they go head-to-head at 1pm.
After the important fight, Tsitsipas also competes in the quarterfinals of doubles. Specifically, he plays together with Mau at around 5:30 p.m. (COSMOTE SPORT 9HD) against Skupski and Kuhlhoff.
