First Masters quarterfinals for the terrible Alcarath

Carlos Alcarath convinced against Monfils and secured the ticket for the appointment with Nori in the quarterfinals of Indian Wells.

Two months before his 19th birthday, Carlos Alcarath became the youngest quarterfinalist at the 1989 BNP Paribas Open after 17-year-old Michael Chang.
