The final everyone has been waiting for at the Barcelona Open has been confirmed. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Carlos Alkarath will face off against each other on Sunday afternoon (April 23, 5 p.m.).

Like the rest of the tournament, the grand final will be broadcast live on the Cosmote sport 6. This will be the fourth meeting between the two tennis players, with the world No. 2 set to claim three wins in as many matches.

The two had also met in the quarterfinals last year, with Alkarath claiming victory after a thrilling running game.

If Tsitsipas wins the final, he will climb back up to 3rd place in the world rankings, in the event of a defeat he will remain 5th place. On the other hand, the Spaniard will definitely stay in 2nd place behind Novak Djokovic.

The two secured 254,825 euros with their appearance in the final and whoever makes it gets the trophy 477,795 euros.

Stefanos Tsitsipas clinches his tenth career title and first in an ATP 500 tournament (he’s 0/9 in the finals of the respective tournaments), as the Spaniard is aiming for his ninth straight title.
