Stefanos Tsitsipas was unable to prevail against Carlos Alcarath, continuing his ATP 500 Finals curse.

Carlos Alcarath was excellent, beating Stefanos Tsitsipas 2-0 in sets at the Barcelona Open. The two now each have nine titles in their careers.

Of course, the Greek tennis player has a terribly negative record in the ATP 500 finals, having already achieved 0/10. As you will see in the table below, the Greek tennis player has never managed to prevail in the final of this category.

In total he has lost 17 finals, ten of them in ATP 500. This practically means that he has 9 wins in 16 matches in the remaining finals. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on for him and his team, even though he’s always faced excellent opponents in the finals.
