Sakkari: ‘I like going back to games, I have confidence in myself’
Maria Sakkari told the court immediately after the match that she would like to return to the games and turn around her opponents’ lead, stressing that she always believes in herself.
Maria Sakkari defeated Elena Rimbakina 2-0 in a set and climbed to fifth place in the world rankings for the first time in her career.
The Greek tennis player was happy with her statements on the court immediately after the end of the match, while for the upset she made in the first set, she explained that she would like to return to the matches as she has done it many times before.
