“You can’t prepare for this in any way and you won’t be able to protect yourself” – Dyachenko about the ban on boarding a flight of a Polish airline

Russian tennis player Vitalia Dyachenko told RT that it is impossible to protect yourself from incidents such as denial of boarding an aircraft due to a Russian passport until something happens.
The tennis player was previously not allowed to board the Polish airline LOT Airlines due to the company’s policy not to put Russian citizens on the plane.
“Unfortunately, we are in this position now. Until something happens, we will not know which airline you can fly with and which not, through which country you will be allowed to fly, and in which city they are not waiting. You can’t prepare for this and you can’t protect yourself. This is all very sad, because ordinary people and athletes who have nothing to do with what is happening in the world suffer from this, ”said the tennis player.
Dyachenko is the winner of one WTA tournament in doubles. The tennis player takes the 250th place in the world ranking.
