If she does not give more details on the duration of her absence, she will not be able to play the Grand Slam tournaments at Roland-Garros, from May 22 to June 11, and Wimbledon, from July 3 to 16.

Depending on the length of his recovery, his participation in the US Open, from August 28 to September 10, could also be threatened.

“To say the least, the last 10 months have been difficult as I battled a recurring injury to a bone,” she said on a handwritten page pictured on her official account, accompanied by another photo of her in a hospital bed with a big bandage on her right hand.

She added that she tried to heal by reducing the amount of training, not training at all for weeks or ending the previous season prematurely, but “unfortunately that wasn’t enough”, she said. – she had to admit.
