All semi-finalists of the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid have been revealed
On Wednesday, 3 May, two semi-finals were played in the upper tier of the WTA 1000 soil tournament in Madrid (Spain).
The world’s first racket, Iga Sventek, defeated Petra Martic in a dominant style with a score of 6:0, 6:3 in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Iga hung the 7th bun this season to its rivals.
Unfortunately, the world’s third racket, Jessica Pegula, was unable to beat the country’s representative 404 Veronika Kudermetova in three matches.
Previously, Maria Sakkari and Arina Sobolenko had won the quarter-finals.
