Tsitsipas’ anger: “Don’t speak before the point is over”
After a point in the first set of the game against the Bernabe Thapata Mirages, Stefanos Tsitsipas came to the side of his training team and asked them not to speak until the rally was over.
Stefanos Tsitsipas (No.5) was excellent (especially in the second set) and easily defeated Bernabé Thapata Mirages (6-3, 6-1) to seal his ticket to the quarterfinals of the Madrid Open.
The game was also watched by Konstantinos Argyros, who was in the Greek champion’s box while there was no lack of excitement throughout the game.
Specifically, after a successful point in the fifth game of the first set, Tsitsipas turned to his coaching team and asked one of them again and again “Don’t speak until the point is over.”
