The 1/4 final matches of the clay tournament of the ATP 1000 series were held in Madrid (Spain).

On the first match day of this tour, Carlos Alcaras defeated Karen Khachanov and lost lucky Daniel Altmaier to Borna Coric.

On the second game day, Zhang Zhizhen failed to beat Aslan Karatsev, while Stefanos Tsitsipas unexpectedly lost to tournament winner Jan-Lennard Struff.
