Yastremska beats Catalonia’s number one spot to advance to the semi-finals
Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya (No. 149 WTA) went on to win the WTA 125 tournament in Reus (Spain).
In the 1/4 finals, the Ukrainian player defeated the seeded Swiss Gilles Teichmann (#30 WTA).

It was the fourth match of tennis players, the Ukrainian won for the third time. Dayana beat an opponent in the top 30 on dirt for the first time since September 2020.
The Ukrainian also improved the statistics of games played with left-handed players, it was his 14th win in 24 matches with left-handed tennis players.
In the next round, Yastremska will face American Elisabeth Mandlik (#147 WTA), who started qualifying in Reus.
