Serena Williams announces pregnancy
Multiple Grand Slam winner Serena Williams has announced on social media that she is expecting her second child.
The 41-year-old tennis player posted photos with her husband Alexis Oganyan, showing her rounded belly. Williams captioned the post as follows: “I was very happy when Anna Wintour (the organizer of the annual Met Gala ball) invited the three of us to the event.”
Olympia, Williams and Ohanian’s first child, was born in the fall of 2017.
Williams retired in 2022. She is a 23-time Grand Slam champion in singles, a four-time Olympic champion, and a winner of 73 WTA tournaments.
