Khachanov lost to Alcaraz in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Madrid
Russian Karen Khachanov failed to reach the semifinals of the Masters tennis tournament in Madrid.
Khachanov, seeded under the 10th number, lost to the second racket of the world Carlos Alcaras from Spain in the ¼ final match – 4:6, 5:7. The meeting lasted 1 hour 51 minutes.
Alcaraz’s next opponent will be determined by the results of the match between Croat Borna Coric (17th seed) and German Daniel Altmaier (lucky loser).
