The first issue of the Ukrainian Krutykh lost devastatingly at the start of the Masters in Rome
Ukrainian men’s tennis leader Alexei Krutykh (ATP 177) completed its performance at the clay tournament of the ATP 1000 series held in Rome (Italy).
In the first round, which qualified to participate in the main draw of the Italian Masters, the Ukrainian lost to the country representative 404 in two sets. Alexandra Shevchenko (ATP 93) 1 hour 15 minutes.

During the match, Krutykh did not break any points, and in the second match he scored only 2 points at the reception.
It was the fourth meeting of tennis players. The score is equal – 2:2.
Krutykh became the first Ukrainian to play in the Masters selection after 14 months. In March 2022, Ilya Marchenko lost in the second qualifying round at Indian Wells.
