Rome Masters: Thursday Sakkari, Saturday Tsitsipas
Maria Sakkari and Stefanos Tsitsipas are preparing to take part in the Rome Masters and their debuts are expected to take place on Thursday and Saturday respectively.
On Thursday (5/11) Maria Sakkari is expected to start her duties in Rome, who will meet 37-year-old Czech and former world number 16 Barbora Strykova, who prevailed last Tuesday (5/9) in the 1 th round of Belgian Marina Zanefska.
The match winner advances to the 3rd round where she meets match winner Bianca Antrescu and Marketa Vodrusova.
Stefanos Tsitsipas, on the other hand, will make his debut on Saturday (13/05) because Wednesday (10/05) will see the start of the upper board’s competition action, which means that on Friday (12/05) the 2nd round will take place, while for the lower part of the table the 1st round will be played th round is held on Thursday and the 2nd on Saturday.
