Ovcharenko beat the duo without a flag to win Serbia’s ITF doubles cup
Ukrainian tennis player Alexander Ovcharenko Won the doubles title at the ITF M25 tournament in Kursumlija Banya (Serbia).
4th seeded Macedonian Alexander Ovcharenko and Kalin Jovanovski defeated third seeded Andrei Chepelev / Nikolay Galyak (unflagged) with 3:6, 7:6 (7:5) scores in the final. [10–5].
For 21-year-old Alexander Ovcharenko, this is his 3rd ITF doubles title this season and 7th in his career with all trophies won on dirt.
However, in the singles, Ovcharenko lost to Macedonian partner Kalin Jovanovski in the semi-finals with the scores of 5:7, 2:6.
It’s also funny that Ovcharenko won the doubles cup last week in the same Serbian city with a different partner.
