The world’s first racket Iga Sventek (Poland) reached the quarter-finals of the WTA 1000 clay tournament held in Rome (Italy).

In the 4th round of the competition, Polka won in two sets. Donna Vekic (Croatia, WTA 24) 1 hour 36 minutes.

Sventek made only 1 serve for the match.

This was the girls’ fourth date. Iga won all the matches.

In the thousandth quarter-finals in the capital of Italy, the first racket will play with Elena Rybakina (WTA 6) from Kazakhstan. In the current season, Sventek lost 2 matches against Kazakhstan.

In 2021 and 2022, the Iga received titles in the Roman courts.
