Nadal intends to retire from tennis in 2024

Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has announced that he plans to retire in 2024.
– I will not be able to perform at Roland Garros. Now I won’t play for a few months. If I keep playing, I won’t be able to play next year. My intention is that next year will be the last year of my career. I will play tournaments that I like to say goodbye to those who supported me all this time
I will try to make sure that in the last year I am not only competitive, I will do my best to compete at the highest level and try to win tournaments,” said Nadal AS.
Nadal, 36, holds the Roland Garros record with 14 wins. In total, the Spaniard won 22 Grand Slam tournaments, he shares the first place in this indicator with Serbian Novak Djokovic.
