Tsitsipas took the balls in hand and finished the set in his only service game, where he didn’t find the first serve easy. This was capitalized on by Coric who hit a double break point (15/40) and had two chances to win back his lost serve.

However, with correct placements on his serve, Tsitsipas grabbed the next 4 points, winning the 1st set in 38 minutes after recording 10 winners (only 4 from Coric) but also 8 unforced errors (11 from Coric) and only one Point conceded behind the first serve (15/16) and 5 in the second (6/11).

As in Set 1, Tsitsipas started serve consistently in Set 2, gaining easy points while putting unbearable pressure on Coric’s serve, even finding a break from 30/0 (2-1), which he with was still able to easily compensate for a 3:1 with a slight serve.

From the moment Tsitsipas couldn’t find any solutions to Tsitsipas’ serve, the Greek tennis player easily “filled” the Croatian’s serves and achieved a new break point, which Tsitsipas this time erased, shortening to 4:3.
