Eugenie Bouchard back in action in April
Eugenie Bouchard will be back on the tennis court for the first time in a year in April for the United States Women’s Clay Court Championship.
It will be a return to competition for the 28-year-old athlete, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder last June. Her injury dated back to March 2020, when she tore her subscapularis in her first-round match in Guadalajara.
Bouchard is the first confirmed player for the event, which will take place April 11-17 at Innisbrook Resort. An amount of $100,000 is at stake.
