Kamelzon called boorish the decision of Ukrainian Kalinina not to shake hands with Kudermetova

Merited Russian tennis coach Vladimir Kamelzon said that the behavior of Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina in the semifinal match of the tournament in Rome with Russian Veronika Kudermetova was boorish.
Kalinina defeated Kudermetova in the semi-finals of the WTA tournament in Rome. After the end of the meeting, the Ukrainian woman refused to shake hands with the Russian woman, explaining this by the political situation between the countries.
– I can’t take this positively, I think that the rules of the competition are obligatory for everyone. The concepts of behavior, attitude towards the player, towards the country with which you play, do not cancel anything. I take this negatively. Boorish behavior is never welcome, at any time, especially today. If they play, they must comply with all the rules of international competitions. If everyone shakes hands, but she doesn’t, then I see nothing but rudeness here, ”Kamelzon told Match TV.
Kalinina in the final of the tournament will play with the representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina.
