Kudermetova lost to Ukrainian Kalinina in the semifinals of the tournament in Rome
Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova failed to reach the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, losing to Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina.
The semi-final match ended in favor of the 47th racket of the world Kalinina with a score of 7:5, 5:7, 6:2. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 50 minutes on the court. Kudermetova, who received the 11th seed, converted only three breakpoints out of 12.
Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan, 7) and Elena Ostapenko (Latvia, 20) will compete for another ticket to the final.
