Chesnokov considers Medvedev a favorite in the match against Tsitsipas at a tournament in Rome
Roland Garros semi-finalist and Davis Cup finalist Andrei Chesnokov believes that it will be difficult for the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas to beat the Russian Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals of the Masters tournament in Rome.
– Unlike the bookmakers, I consider Medvedev to be the favorite in this match. Because he’s playing great now. Daniel enters a state where it is almost impossible to stop him. Right now, it is very difficult to beat Medvedev, not like it was at the tournaments in Monte Carlo and Madrid. I think if the match with Shevchenko took place now, then Daniil would have defeated him not with difficulty in three sets, but as in the quarterfinals with Hanfmann – 6:2, 6:2, – Chesnokov told Vprognoze.ru.
The match between Medvedev and Tsitsipas will take place on May 20, tennis players will take to the court after the end of the match between Dane Holger Rune and Norwegian Kasper Ruud.
