Medvedev won the clay Masters for the first time in his career

Russian Daniil Medvedev became the winner of the Masters series tournament in Rome.
In the final, Medvedev outplayed Dane Holger Rune with a score of 7:5, 7:5. The meeting lasted 1 hour 42 minutes.
For the Russian, this is the first title in a clay tournament, the fifth in 2023 and the 20th in his career. On Monday, Medvedev will rise from third to second in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings.
