Alkarath took first place in the world rankings, Tsitsipas stayed fifth
Carlos Alcarath enjoys the top spot in the men’s tennis world rankings. Novak Djokovic fell to third place, Tsitsipas remained in fifth place.
The ATP world rankings saw some shuffles as Carlos Alcarath left everyone behind to take the top spot.
Favored by the 820 points lost by Novak Djokovic, the 20-year-old Spaniard climbed to the top with his 6815, at the moment the Russian Danil MenvedevWith the 1,000 points he earned in Rome and a total score of 6,330, he ended up in second place.
In fifth place, behind Norway’s Casper Rudd (4915), is Stefanos Tsitsipas with 4775 points, although he is now under pressure from Denmark’s Holger Rune (4375).
