(Madrid) Spaniard Rafael Nadal announced on Tuesday that he will be out “for four to six weeks” due to a rib injury suffered last weekend during the Indian Wells Masters 1000 which will therefore miss the start of the clay-court season.
“I will be out for 4 to 6 weeks,” Nadal announced on Twitter after a medical examination in Spain. The 35-year-old could therefore miss the Masters 1000 in Monte-Carlo (April 11-17), as well as the Barcelona tournament (April 18-24).
