On Wednesday, May 24, all matches of the 1/8 finals of the WTA 250 soil tournament in Strasbourg (France) have come to an end.
Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina entered the third round of the competition without a fight. The Ukrainian player was going to play with Erin Rutliff, but the New Zealand representative withdrew from the tournament before the match.
In the quarterfinals, Elina will play against tennis player Varvara Gracheva from 404 country, who defeated Selena Janichievich.
The first seed of the tournament, Magda Lynette, lost to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the 1/8 final.
