Svitolina, Kostyuk, Kalinina and Tsurenko recognized their rivals at Roland Garros
The French Open draw was drawn on Thursday, May 25.
Ukraine will be represented by at least five tennis players in the main draw of the women’s tournament. According to the rating, Angelina Kalinina, Marta Kostyuk, Lesya Tsurenko and Katerina Beindl went to the base. Elina Svitolina used a protected rating.
Angelina Kalinina (No. 25 WTA) will fight French Diane Parry (No. 77 WTA) at the start of the competition.
Martha Kostyuk (No. 39 WTA) will start the competition by facing the second racket of the world, Arina Sobolenko.
Lesya Tsurenko (No. 63 WTA) starts with a match against Barbora Krejcikova (No. 13 WTA).
Katerina Beindl (No. 80 WTA) will play with the winner or the lucky loser in the first round.
Elina Svitolina (No. 508 WTA) will return to the Paris courts against Italian Martina Trevisan (No. 26 WTA).
