The semi-finalists of the tournament in Strasbourg have been announced. Who will Svitolina play against?

On Thursday 25 May, the quarter-finals of the WTA 250 series soil tournament took place in Strasbourg (France).

Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina confidently defeated country representative 404 Varvara Gracheva on her way to the semi-finals.

The next opponent of the Ukrainian was determined in the fight between Clara Burel (France, WTA 122) and Bernard Pera (USA, WTA 38). The Frenchwoman defeated the American in three sets with the scores of 6:2, 3:6, 6:4.

Elina and Clara have already played each other. In 2021, Svitolina defeated Burel in the first round of the WTA 250 tournament in Chicago. Soon the Ukrainian won these competitions.

Lauren Davis and Anna Blinkova will play at the top of Strasbourg in the semi-finals.
