Stefanos Tsitsipas was asked about his relationship with Alyssa Lehmann, who plays for Aston Villa, at the Roland Garros press conference and he said they were just friends, citing as an example his friendship and what he gains from it with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Stefanos Tsitsipas was asked a question about the relationship at the Roland Garros press conference with Alyssa Lehman who plays with him for Aston Villa cites Giannis Antetokounmpo as an example, stressing that he likes to have friends from different sports to talk to about what they are going through:

“I’m an Aston Villa fan. I have always supported them. Alyssa is a great athlete who plays great. I always had in mind to have friends from different sports and with different profiles.”

One of them is Giannis Antetokounmpo, who plays basketball and whom we see quite often. And I want to do the same with the other card. For me it’s a source of inspiration and so nice to talk about things I’m not used to and a beautiful friendship has developed.

It is good to have such an attitude towards other athletes and wish them all the best in their health. It’s also nice to be open about what’s happening to us, what we’re struggling with and the criticism we’re getting. Having friends means a lot to me and makes me a better person.

During the press conference, the Greek tennis player was also asked what happened to Medvedev in Rome and in the quarterfinals when he threw his mother out of his box, and he didn’t want to answer:

“I have no comment on that.”
