Mini-Federer vs. sensational Chile. Who will play in the final of the tournament in Geneva?

On Friday, May 26, the semi-finals of the clay tournament of the ATP 250 series were held in Geneva (Switzerland).

Chilean tennis player Nicholas Harry defeated third-seeded Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals of the competition. And in the final match, Harry unexpectedly defeated seed leader Kasper Ruud as well. At the beginning of the tournament, Nicolas defeated Dusan Lajovic and did not fight against Tallon Grikspor Chile in the 1/8 final.

For Harry, this will be his fifth ATP final where he will fight for the 3rd title. He won the competition in Båstad in 2019 and won the trophy in Santiago in 2023.

Thanks to his style and notable success, Grigor Dimitrov made his way from the bottom rows to the finals, receiving the nickname Baby Fad or mini-Federer until 2017-2018. In the semi-finals, he defeated the second-seeded Taylor Fritz in three sets, but lost the first set and won the second set 2-4. He also defeated Roberto Carballes Baena and Christopher O’Connell along the way.

Grigor has 15 finals, including the title match at the 2017 Finals Tournament in London, where he lost. The elite Bulgarian will fight for the 8th and first title since 2018.

Harry and Dimitrov faced off in the 1/8 final of the ATP 500 Barcelona in 2018. Then Nicholas won in three sets.
