Erika Andreeva will replace the injured Kalinskaya in the main draw of Roland Garros

Russian tennis player Erika Andreeva will replace the injured Anna Kalinskaya in the current Roland Garros draw, the press service of the tournament reports.

Earlier, Kalinskaya announced that she would miss the French Open due to injury.

Andreeva will face American Emma Navarro in the first round of the competition. The 18-year-old Russian woman lost in the final of the qualification, but will play in the tournament as a lucky loser.

Andreeva takes 147th place in the ranking of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).

The French Open runs from May 28 to June 11, 2023.
