Russian tennis player Elena Vesnina believes that Arina Sobolenko from Belarus and Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan will compete with the first racket of the world from Poland, Ige Sventek, at Roland Garros.
– In the women’s draw of Roland Garros, the favorite is still Iga Sventek. Still, she is the most titled of the current participants, and the ground is her favorite surface.
But not everything is so simple! An interesting competition was formed with Arina Sobolenko and Lena Rybakina. Therefore, the confrontation will be very interesting. Because these two girls will fight for the first line of the ranking. It is far from a fact that Shventek will remain the first, Vesnina told Sport24.
In the first round of Roland Garros, Sventek will play Spaniard Christina Buksha on May 29.
