Possible opponents of Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third and fourth rounds of Roland Garros are Diego Schwarzman and Fabio Fognini at Roland Garros.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is on the second path from Roland Garros and already knows who his most likely opponents are until the end. After getting past the demanding match with Czech Veseli, he is preparing himself competitively and mentally for the following match with Spaniard Karbales Baena (No. 57).

However, as a favourite, as long as he continues at the big tournament in Paris, it’s natural to look further ahead and what’s to come. That’s why he’s interested in what happened in the games on Monday (May 29).

One of them left a surprise as an Italian Fabio Fognini (No. 52) ruled him out Felix Ozier-Aliassime (No. 10). The 36-year-old tennis player was impressive against the Canadian, winning 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 and securing his place in the next round against Australia’s Jason Kluber (No. 69).

His early ban also seemed very likely Diego Schwarzman. The 30-year-old Argentine (No. 95), who took part in the 2020 semifinals, lost in sets 0-2 (1-6, 6-7) to Spaniards Tapata Mirages but managed to activate all his resistance and managed an upset with 6:2, 6:0 and 6:4.

In order to meet Tsitsipas in the third round, he must defeat the Portuguese Nuno Borges (No. 80), who prevailed in the match against the American Isner (No. 90) thanks to an 11:9 tie-break with 3:2 sets.
