Svitolina started confidently at Roland Garros, defeating the world’s 24th racket.

Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina (WTA 192) got off to a successful start at the 2023 French Open.

The Ukrainian player was confidently defeated in the 1/64 final of Roland Garros. Martin Trevisan (WTA 24) 1 hour 10 minutes from Italy.

It was the first meeting of tennis players.

Throughout the match, Elina never gave up on her serve. Moreover, Trevisan could not even reach breaking points.

In the next round of the French Major, Svitolina will face Storm Sanders (WTA 204) from Australia.

Svitolina played for Roland Garros from 2011 to 2021. She missed the French Open in 2022 due to pregnancy. For Elina, this is her first victory in Grand Slam tournaments since her return. At Roland Garros, the best result of the old third racket in the world is the quarterfinals (2015, 2017, 2020).
