“Psychological pressure on a tennis player should be, so he plays even better” – Chesnokov
Roland Garros semi-finalist and Davis Cup finalist Andrey Chesnokov spoke about the importance of pressure on an athlete before a game.
– I think it’s good when there is pressure. You go out on the court, concentrate and play even better. There must be psychological pressure. It’s my opinion. And there are players who start to have jitters, and they can’t show anything, but such players are not top-level,” Chesnokov told Vprognoze.ru.
The second Grand Slam tournament of the season, Roland Garros, takes place from May 28 to June 11 in Paris.
