Dmitry Kuleba: “Those who booed Kostyuk should visit Bucha”
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba Supported the Ukrainian tennis player Martha Kostyuk (WTA 39) was booed by fans for not shaking hands with world number 2 Belarusian Arina Sabalenko at the 2023 French Open:
“I support Marta Kostyuk, who was booed for refusing to shake hands with Belarusian Arina Sabalenka. Let the booers visit Bucha, where the Russian army came from Belarus and destroyed the civilian population.
Or run for cover when a Russian plane takes off in Belarus. Then the whistle.”
In the 1/64 final of Roland Garros, Kostyuk lost to Sobolenko with the scores of 3:6, 2:6 in two sets.
