Djokovic’s signature after Roland Garros win: “Kosovo is the heart of Serbia”
Immediately after defeating the American Aleksandar Kovacevic and entering the next round of Roland Garros, Novak Djokovic referred to the incidents in northern Kosovo on Monday (May 29) in his “established” signature in front of the camera.
Novak Djokovic clinched a 3-0 win over American Aleksandar Kovacevic to qualify for the next round of Roland Garros, but has turned his attention to the ‘established’ signing.
The Serbian tennis player (No. 3 in the world rankings) wrote on camera: “Kosovo is the heart of Serbia. to stop the violence“.
The reason for its signing seems to have been the incidents in the town of Zvečan in northern Kosovo between Serb protesters and repressive forces of KFOR, the international peacekeeping force in the region, in which two protesters were injured.
