Tsurenko’s opponent in Roland Garros 2023 1/32 final has been revealed
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko (WTA 66) recognized his opponent in the 1/32 final of the French Open in 2023.
He will face the Ukrainian in the second week of Roland Garros. Lauren Davis (WTA 52, USA). At the start of the French Major, the American defeated Zhu Lin (WTA 40, China) in two sets at 1 hour 25 minutes.

Lesya and Lauren played each other already in 2018. Then, in the 1/16 final of the WTA 500 hardcore tournament Acapulco (Mexico), Tsurenko defeated the American 6:4, 6:1.
Davis’ highest position in the WTA rankings is at #26. Lauren has 2 WTA titles and 8 ITF trophies. The best result in Grand Slam tournaments is round 3 in all majors except Roland Garros (round 2).
The duel between Tsurenko and Davis will be held on June 1. Lesya defeated Barbora Kreychikova in the 1st round of the competition.
