A repeat of Strasbourg? Opponent Svitolina determined in the 3rd round of WG 2023
Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina (WTA 192) recognized his opponent in the 1/16 final of the French Open 2023.
Ukrainian will play with representatives of 404 countries Anna Blinkova (WTA 56). In the 2nd round of Roland Garros, Blinkova defeated Caroline Garcia of France, who was ranked fifth in the world, in three sets.

Svitolina and Blinkova have only played once before. A week ago, Elina lifted the Russian woman’s classification with 6:2, 6:3 scores in the final of the WTA 250 dirt tournament in Strasbourg.
Blinkova has a WTA 250 trophy in Cluj-Napoca in 2022, as well as a 125k trophy in New Haven and 3 wins in ITF tournaments. Anna’s highest position in the WTA ranking is at 54th place.
It is not yet known when the duel between Svitolina and Blinkova will take place.
