Tsurenko – in the 1/16 final of Roland Garros. Lesya refused the American
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko (WTA 66) advanced to the 1/16 final of the French Open 2023.
Ukrainian player in the second week of Roland Garros, Lauren Davis (WTA 52). Lesya won the first set and at the beginning of the second set, the US representative withdrew from the fight.

In the first set, Tsurenko lost with two time-outs (0:1, 1:2), but managed to brake again and level the score. With 4:3 in Lesya’s favour, Davis took a medical timeout and then failed to win another game.
At the start of the second game, Lauren lost the field and withdrew from the game. The cause is injury to the abdominal muscles.
In the next round of the French Major, Tsurenko will face the winner of the match, Bianca Andreescu – Emma Navarro.
