The absence of a logo was noticed by Polish journalist Dominik Senkowski, who appealed to the organizers of the tournament for clarification.
“Any commercial or other symbolism that violates government or television regulations is prohibited. “Tatneft” is on this list and has been banned,” Senkovski said in the press service of the tournament.
Kudermetova was eliminated from the competition after losing to Anna Karolina Shmidlova of Slovakia after the first round.
Note that Tatneft is under sanctions in the EU.
