Schwarzman – Tsitsipas 0-3: Stefanos equalized the Argentine and advanced to the “16” of Roland Garros
Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified for the “16” of Roland Garros when he defeated Argentina’s Diego Schwarzman with a 3-0 set (6-2, 6-2, 6-3).
Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 5) defeated Diego Schwartzman (No. 95) 3-0 (6-2, 6-2, 6-3) set as part of his third round Roland Garros and reached the “16” of the tournament.
The Greek tennis player completely dominated the first two sets, which he won 6-2, scoring two break points in each. The Argentine pressed Tsitsipas in the decider but the world No. 5 also finished the decider to celebrate an easy win.
This was the seventh clash between the two tennis players, with Stefanos extending his record to 4-2 after winning the last four clashes.
In the 4th round of the tournament, the Greek tennis player meets the Sebastian Offner, No. 118 in the world rankings, who defeated Fabio Fognini in 3-2 sets (5-7, 6-3, 7-5, 1-6, 6-4). An opponent he has never played against.
