The amazing Alkarath easily qualified against Shapovalov in the 4th round of Roland Garros
Carlos Alcarath (No. 1) defeated Denis Shapovalov 3-0 sets (6-1, 6-4, 6-2) and qualified for the 4th round of Roland Garros.
Carlos Alcarath only struggled for one set against Denis Shapovalov but was great for most of the match, winning 3-0 sets (6-1, 6-4, 6-2) and then moving on to the fourth round of Roland Garros 2 hours and ten minutes.
The Spaniard and world No. 1 went into the first set furiously, which he won 6-1. Shapovalov managed to put Alkarath under pressure and take a 4-1 lead in the second set, but the fearsome Spaniard needed five games in a row to win the second set 6-4.
The third set was a typical affair: Alcarath won 6-2 to take the win and advance to the 4th round of Roland Garros.
