The 1/16 finals of the French Open Tennis Championship 2023 for women took place on 3 June.

The world’s first racket, Iga Sventek, knocked Xin Yu Wang out of the classification in two sets without giving the Chinese woman a single game.

34-year-old Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko defeated Bianca Andreescu, allowing her to take only 2 matches.

The world’s fourth racket, Elena Rybakina, withdrew from Roland Garros before the Sarah Sorribes-Tormo match. Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maya won three matches from country representative 404 Ekaterina Alexandrova.

Earlier, the participants of the 1/8 finals in the lower part of the tournament group became known, including the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina.
