A tennis player at Roland Garros hit a ballgirl on the head with a ball. The girl burst into tears, and the referee ended the match ahead of schedule

Indonesian Aldila Sutjiadi and Japanese Miyu Kato were disqualified during the meeting of the 1/8 finals of the French Open tennis against Spaniard Sara Sorribes-Tormo and Czech Marie Bouzkova.
The women’s doubles game took place on Sunday. With the score 6:7 (1:7), 3:1 Kato threw the ball to the side during the break between rallies, it hit the head of the ballgirl. The girl burst into tears and the game was stopped.
The judge listened to all the participants in the incident, and after lengthy proceedings, it was decided to disqualify the couple. The referee issued such a verdict, since the ball hit the girl’s face not after a rebound, but from a direct blow from Kato. The decision of the referee made the Japanese tennis player burst into tears.
In the quarterfinals of the tournament, Sorribes-Tormo and Bouzkova will play with Nicole Melikar (USA) and Ellen Perez (Australia).
