Andrey Olkhovsky, the winner of two Grand Slam tournaments in mixed doubles, praised Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova’s fitness after winning the fourth round of Roland Garros.
Pavlyuchenkova beat Belgian Elise Mertens on Sunday with a score of 3:6, 7:6 (7:3), 6:3 in the fourth round of the French Open and made it to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
– This victory suggests that Nastya felt the taste of victories and is in good shape. In my opinion, Nastya can go through the game that she showed from the middle of the second and third sets, – Olkhovsky told Vprognoze.ru.
In the quarterfinals, Pavlyuchenkova will play with the representative of the Czech Republic Karolina Muchova.
