Tsitsipas: Clash of the Titans with Alkarath in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros
Stefanos Tsitsipas did his duty against Ofner and ended his gigantic fight with Alkarath on Tuesday (6/6) in the Roland Garros quarter-finals.
When the Roland Garros draw was made, tennis fans had circled a possible pair in the quarterfinals and this was confirmed.
Stefanos Tsitsipas (No.5) cleared Ofner’s hurdle, Carlos Alcarath (No.1) Mouzetti and the two will face off in the quarterfinals.
Tsitsipas and Alcarath met four more times, with the Spaniard recording the same number of wins, but all of their games were of great interest and offered a rich spectacle.
Both this particular quarter-final and Djokovic’s vs. Khachanov will be played on Tuesday and we are awaiting the detailed schedule.
The other quarter-final pairings will be announced from the games on Monday, the resulting pairings will meet on Wednesday.
